A Ridiculously Awesome Simple Sunday...on Monday?

 Happy Monday Dreamers!

I have to be quick about today .Going with my oldest son and husband to Pawhuska to the Osage Prairie and the Mercantile to see the bison and maybe Ree Drummond!  Should be a fun day,

We won't be seeing any sunshine today, I am afraid. High of 49 degrees!  But my cards today should take the chill off. I have chosen the Ridiculously Awesome stamp set designed by Ronda Wade.  If you know her, you know this stamp set is her personality! So cheery and happy!

The first card, takes advantage of the FREE Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper (DSP) Flower & Field. I made it live on my Simple Sunday Live that I host in my group,  The Dreamer's Stamping Group.  It would be great to have you join us! The recipe for this is :

Card base: So Saffron cut 81/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/2"                                                                       Upper DSP: 2 3/4" x 4"                                                                                                                                 Lower DSP: 2 1/2" x 4"                                                                                                                         Whisper White: 2" x 3 1/4"                                                                                                              "Ribbon": So Saffron  1/2" x 4" I also used some bling, that was retired! It was the perfect one!

Simple Sunday cards are always geared for my beginners. Or those who need a card fast! Clean and neat. My 2nd card, steps it up just a little. I stayed with the same stamp from this set, but put it on a larger piece of Whisper White. using a mix of 2 ink colors and my NEW Blending Brushes, I slowly built up colors until they made a radiant ray of sunshine! Love working with this brush! It gives a soft texture. And no lines! I have mastered the daubers, but this was maybe a bit easier!

I also used some new DSP, from the True Love set. This black and white paper can be used anywhere and begs to be colored. Maybe later this week I will show you!

The recipe for this card is Whisper White card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"                                                                          Basic Black: 4" x 5 1/4"                                                                                                                                DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"                                                                                                                                           Whisper White: 3"x 4 1/8"                                                                                                                             Ink Pads: Memento, Bumblebee and So Saffron                                                                  Putting together is a simple layering technique.

Now you will notice, that I listed Whisper White as my card base. Covid issues closed down the factory that made our Whisper White paper products, so the company had to scramble to get another white. So Basic White was born! I had just purchased 2 packs of WW and have to use it up. Basic White will become my standard, after the other is depleted at my house!

I hope you gals have enjoyed my cards. Please leave me a comment, so I know you are reading me. I love doing these, gives me someone to "talk" stamping with. Remember all the Blue words are links to my personal store. I would love your order!

So for today, I am Dreamin' of seeing a Bison....you keep Dreamin' too!
