Hello Dreamers! Let's try this with a little more detail and some design elements in it! I wanted to make it home in time to make the blog hop at 3 pm...it is 2:55! So forgive me. I am a lot out of practice at keeping a schedule! Summer time is full of fun activities as we are outdoor people. So I have had several camping, kayaking and boating adventures. And some personal issues that took me into a shutdown mode. Girls, when you get there, get help. It makes a world of difference. Doing better and ready to delve into my business again.
I traveled with my friend Jennifer to Okemas, Michigan last week for Ronda Wade's Creative Convention. I was two and a half days of learning from some great Stampin' UP! demonstrators, meeting new friends, making cards and a great Shoebox swap! I came home inspired and loaded with 30 cards to show you!
This was the swap card that I had created using the Merriest Trees Bundle. I have a quick tutorial below for you. You can buy all the items that I used for it. from my website Hope you enjoy.
Cutting Directions
5 1/2' x 8 1/2" Parakeet Party Cardstock Score & fold in half
4"x5 1/4" Sweet Sorbet
4" x 5 1/4" Basic White for inside
small pieces of Basic White, Sweet Sorbet & Parakeet Party
Die cut Sweet Sorbet with the Tiny Christmas Trees Die. Glue to card base.
Cut tag from Basic White and Taylor Made Tags. Glue at a slant to card front.
Use Parakeet Party to die cut out large tree. Stamp with Shaded Spruce Ink. .Glue as shown to tag.
Stamp sentiment on Sweet Sorbet and die cut with tree die. It is a tight fit, so use care. Pop up with Stampin' Dimensionals, onto larger tree.
Add bow of Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon.
Stamp sentiment on inside using Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Pad Adhere to inside.
Notice how tight a fit this is!
Inside is a little simple. I thought about gluing several of the trees that were punched out from the front.
All of a sudden, that became a lot of work!
Thanks for your patience with me. And for dropping by. I hope you come back to visit often!
I'm Dreamin' about getting my business running again...You keep Dreamin' too!
