A Zany Zoo Birthday!

 

Welcome Dreamers!  Here I am in another Blog Hop with the stampers from Crafty Collaborations. This group has inspired me by the styles & skills they share!  I dream that you will grab your favorite beverage, close the office door (or snuggle up on your couch) and spend an hour reading these blogs. May you find great inspiration from them.

   All over the crafting world, we are getting sneak peaks at sets from the NEW Annual Catalog. I am excited to start playing with these. Stampin' Up! tipped our color world upside down with the color refresh. So many changes.  I will admit that the In Colors for 2023-2025 are a bit challenging for this Brights Gal. I have, by working with them, become quite comfortable with the richness of them. Pebble Path & I are going to be great friends!

  My card today is a type of pop up card. I got to play with my Zany Zoo Suite. This fun suite offers our zoo favorites doing some of their favorite activities: dancing, singing, knitting, exploring nature, going for a bike ride & celebrating all our special events!                                       The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is adorable with lots of action on the fronts and black & white patterns on the reverse sides. I like the opportunity to be able to color with my Stampin' Blends to match my card!  I chose not to today, keeping a black/white theme with pops of color. I love the way it turned out.

For my base I used the new Lemon Lime Twist. Or should I say the "old" color? 

t has come back to us. Balmy Blue with a border of black makes the 

front panel pop from the background. Instead of stamping Mr. Racoon, I cut him from the DSP. The balloons were already colored in. Very Artsy! 

 A  look at the inside reveals the "pop up" feature.  More DSP and some fussy cutting finished it off!
